Using Ansys HFSS 3D High-Frequency Structure Simulation Software

T Junction Waveguide (Figure 1).

Waveguide junctions enable power to be split, extracted, or combined - various types include E-Type, H-Type, Magic T, and Hybrid Ring.

Observation:

S Parameters

S13 Is mostly Equal across the band

S21 starts at -9.5db at 8 GHz and increases linearly with frequency.

S11 dip is at 8.80 to 8.90 GHz

Electric field distribution is high in the X-direction compared to the Y and Z directions.
